What languages does Spellproof support?
Spellproof supports proofreading in the following languages:
- English (UK)
- English (US)
- French
- German
We are planning to add more languages soon!
Does Spellproof support multiple languages within one Confluence space?
How can I set the language being used?
Spellproof automatically uses your browser language setting when checking page content. An administrator is able to explicitly set a language per space through the SPC - Configuring Spellproof screens.
Does Spellproof run on Confluence Cloud?
NoDue to the way Confluence Cloud is setup, Spellproof only runs is unable to run on Confluence Server. Confluence Cloud is not compatible / supported with Spellproof.
Is Spellproof available for other Atlassian products?
No, currently Spellproof is only runs on available for Confluence . We will be releasing Server. If you are interested in Spellproof for JIRA soon.or other products, please let us know!
Is my page information secure
on Spellproof?
Yes, Spellproof application is very safe as we do not store any user dataSpellproof runs locally on your Confluence Server to provide spelling, grammar and style checking. We do not transmit any of your page information to our servers.
