What languages does Spellproof support?
Spellproof supports proofreading in the following languages:
Chinese
- English (UK)
- English (US)
- French
- German
Italian
Japanese
Portuguese - Portugal
Portuguese - Brazil
Russian
Spanish
We are planning to always open to adding more languages. Suggest new feature to add more languages soon!
Does Spellproof support multiple languages within one Confluence space?
No, Spellproof can only support one language per Confluence space!
How can I set the language being used?
Spellproof automatically uses your browser language setting when checking page content. An administrator is able to explicitly set a language per space through the Configuring Spellproof screens.
Does Spellproof run on Confluence Cloud?
NoDue to the way Confluence Cloud is setup currently, Spellproof only runs on Confluence Server. Confluence Cloud is not compatible / supported with Spellproof.
Does Spellproof run on JIRA?
No, currently Spellproof only runs on Confluence. We will be releasing Spellproof for JIRA soon.
Is my information secure on Spellproof?
Yes, Spellproof application is very safe as we do not store any user data.is not available on Confluence Cloud.
Is Spellproof available for other Atlassian products?
Yes, Spellproof is also available for Jira Data Center.
Is my page information secure?
Yes, Spellproof runs locally on your Confluence Server. We do not transmit any of your page information to our servers. So it is totally safe!
