What languages does Spellproof support?
Spellproof supports proofreading in the following languages:
Chinese
- English (UK)
- English (US)
- French
- German
Italian
Japanese
Portuguese - Portugal
Portuguese - Brazil
Russian
Spanish
We are planning to always open to adding more languages. Suggest new feature to add more languages soon!
How can I set the language being used?
Spellproof automatically uses your browser language setting when checking page content. An administrator is able to explicitly set a language per space through the SPC - Configuring Spellproof screens.
Does Spellproof run on Confluence Cloud?
Due to the way Confluence Cloud is setup currently, Spellproof is unable to run not available on Confluence Cloud.
Is Spellproof available for other Atlassian products?
Yes, Spellproof is only also available for Confluence Server. If you are interested in Spellproof for JIRA or other products, please let us know! Jira Data Center.
Is my page information secure?
Yes, Spellproof runs locally on your Confluence Server to provide spelling, grammar and style checking. We do not transmit any of your page information to our servers. So it is totally safe!
