What languages does Spellproof support?

Spellproof supports proofreading in the following languages:

• Chinese

• English (UK)
• English (US)
• French
• German

• Italian

• Japanese

• Portuguese - Portugal

• Portuguese - Brazil

• Russian

• Spanish

We are always open to adding more languages. Suggest new feature to add more languages!

How can I set the language being used?

Spellproof automatically uses your browser language setting when checking page content. An administrator is able to explicitly set a language per space through the Configuring Spellproof screens.

Does Spellproof run on Confluence Cloud?

Due to the way Confluence Cloud is setup currently, Spellproof is not available on Confluence Cloud.

Is Spellproof available for other Atlassian products?

Yes, Spellproof is also available for Jira Data Center. 

Is my page information secure?

Yes, Spellproof runs locally on your Confluence Server. We do not transmit any of your page information to our servers. So it is totally safe!
